We generally make time for a spousal date on an anniversary, birthday, and Valentine's day but it is also sweet to include these romantic interludes on a more regular basis. It's called date night and having at least one per month is an excellent way to help keep your relationship sizzling hot. Generally we head out for dinner or a movie but I'm not talking just your basic kind of date in this article. Staying home to spend time with the one you love can also be very romantic.
What better way to spend a day than to choose to spend it alone together? It can be so very nice to take a little time to simply hide away with one another. Schedule in an escape from the hustle and bustle of life with your very special someone. Lock the door, shut off the phone, and prepare to fall in love with your partner all over again. It can be very romantic being home alone together.
Can't get away and need a quick date idea. Start the morning off right by preparing a romantic breakfast tray to serve up in bed to the one you love. Breakfast in bed does not have to be a huge extravagant meal. It is romantic to simply have someone serve up a tray while you lie enjoying those few extra minutes of luxurious relaxation. A meal as simple as coffee, toast, and honey can be very romantic when you serve it up to your spouse in bed. Scrambled eggs are another quick and easy breakfast to prepare. Can't cook? In the right setting even a cup of coffee can be very romantic. Small details of care and consideration can be very touching.
Pre-plan your date. Don't just wing this thing. Plan out your romantic home date idea before the big day arrives. It may take a little plotting to pull it off but the pay off is oh so worth it. Got kids? Arrange for the children to head over to grandma and grandpa's house for a couple nights or send them to a friend's house for a sleep over.
Book off work for a day if you want to have complete and total relaxation for your time together. Feeling rushed or stressed over other issues is a no go. Shake it off. Take the day off work and just spend the day relaxing with the one that you love. You can read the newspaper together, work on crossword puzzles together, wrestle, or even just spend the day watching television together. The point of staying in on this day is that you are spending it with your partner. Just the two of you hiding away from the rest of the world, together.
Add a little candlelight to the room. Some soft romantic lighting can give your home an atmosphere that would make even cupid delighted to enter. It is the small details which can turn everyday into extraordinary. It's a purr-fectly wonderful way to say I love you.

Provide your butler or maid with a key to your house. Set a time when they are to arrive and prepare to dine about one hour after they arrive in your home.
To insure that this arrangement is done with the utmost of dignity your butler or maid should be decked out in fine black or white attire. Classy can be fun and especially when it shows up in a situation where it adds a huge does of fun to the atmosphere.
If you have planned for this person to serve breakfast then they will cook the meal, serve it to you on trays, do the dishes, and then quietly exit the house so you are able to carry on with your romantic day together.
The table would be set with your finest dishes, candlelight, and wine. The butler or maid would then cook and serve your meal. After doing the dishes the hired help would quietly leave the house so your evening is shared by only the two of you.
This is your special time together so enjoy it your way. Don't want to get out of your PJ's at all on this day? It is your option if you choose to stay in pajamas for your date. If so, insure that the maid or butler is dressed to the nines when he or she serves your stylish romantic meal. Formal and casual are atmosphere opposites which play delightfully when they are combined together on a date.
Have a picnic date for two. Share an old fashioned picnic basket with your special someone. Pack up a lunch basket and cozy up on a blanket with your spouse. A simple lunch of bottled wine, cheese, crackers, grapes, and strawberries can be very romantic.
A roaring crackling fire in the hearth spells out warmth, security, and safety. These are all messages that you want to portray to your spouse so snuggle up and whisper sweet nothings to each other. Light a fire in the one that you love.
Turn your bath into a relaxing spa experience. Put on some romantic music. Light the scented candles, fill the tub with bubbles, and crawl in with the person you love. Let the warm water and the perfumed scent of roses or jasmine fill the air around you. Wash her toes and let her wash yours. A relaxing soak together can serve to re-ignite the romantic flames of a relationship. Fragrance is a delightful means of adding atmosphere to a room.
Dim the lights and cast a romantic flicker of light over the water. Soft lighting is available in modern decorative LED lighting. These are in decorative bulbs but also in candles. All the beauty of candle light without the worry of having an open flame. Enchanting.
